When it comes to finding what you want, most powersports Web sites offer very few shopping options—usually, all you can do is browse online catalogs. If you’re trying to find something specific, it may take dozens of clicks. + How will this improve shopping?

Until now, shopping on powersports Web sites has required browsing through catalogs. Nothing wrong with that—some people like it. But there’s no single “best” way to shop. Customers have a variety of shopping styles. Some prefer to shop by brand, category, or type of vehicle. Others may prefer to search by keywords. Some even like to shop by part number.

EZ-Shop doesn’t eliminate the old shop-by-catalog method; it simply adds all the other shopping methods. Customers who prefer the old shop-by-catalog method will still have that option, but now people with other preferred styles can find what they want, too.


+ Why haven’t you offered this before?

We offer our powersports dealers more than 90 pre-loaded catalogs, with hundreds of thousands of products. Until now, providing accurate keyword search, refinement, filtering, and multiple-style shopping capacity for such a huge product database would have been prohibitively expensive. Our goal has been to engineer EZ-Shop so that these powerful tools can be affordable for most dealers. It’s taken us nearly two years of steady work to achieve this goal, and now our dealers get the benefit.


+ Why are refinement and filtering important?

If you haven’t done it before, visit Overstock.com or eBay.com. You’ll see some good examples of online stores with refinement and filtering. These days, most of the big ecommerce sites offer tools like these; your online customers have been “trained” to expect them.

EZ-Shop’s refinement and filtering features enable your customers to rapidly narrow their keyword searches to the most relevant results.
